And so, 

Things are moving along at a rapid pace

Window frames to sand and glass to replace.

Bathroom floor to throw, concrete to mix,

thanks to Dave and his mixer.... easy to fix.

Wood that needs chopping is all getting done

At the end of three days though, wood loses its fun

 Roof under repair, tiles from bottom to top

Men work till dark here, the days never stop.

Cooking, vacuuming and laundry too

goes without saying... its like cleaning a zoo

 Home fires burning to dry clothes when it rains

Easier by far than sorting those drains.

and then there were twelve...

 

Jp went away for a few days to Istanbul... Jordan opted to go to Sofia to meet up with a friend and check out some climbing places and some other things of interest... Rita=home alone! bliss... 

 

Rita and Jordan attended the school concert in the village hall..... then Saturday enjoyed the carnival in Gabrovo.

Sunday and Monday continued working to get the house here ready to receive the crowds.....

And suddenly we were twelve!

look see... the place is so 'cosy and pretty' I had all my time trying to dissuade this guy to move in with us.

Well all the hard work upstairs paid off in full this morning!

I had my first indoor shower in Gostilitsa!!!

It was great... however it would be advisable to collect all my toiletries from 

the garden before proceeding next time :/

 This has been our 'place to rest' for the last little while... but it will look very different once our reinforcements arrive!

 While on my way to the village square look what I found...

This might just look like wood to you, but what is wood to some,

 is lots of work still needing tackling for others

 Let's just face the fact that this is one pretty place!

Today.... the music is loud and the work is on!

Spirits are high...

So the music system might leave something to be desired ... but it works!

Crawling around on the floor.... somehow loses its appeal after a month!

But that does not mean we are giving up by any means... its just a fact.

...you may as well stay up there and eat,

 

So much work is happening and yet sometimes we feel as if we are not getting anywhere. I suppose that could be due to the fact that there is just still so much that needs doing! And each time a tasks gets tackled.... another few reveal themselves! 

We are well... we are tired...we are loving it... we are blessed to be able to do this.
